Dad naps, I read.
Dad wakes,
"I am ready for the full heat."
Another blanket, thermostat change?
No.
Dad wakes and pushes the call button,
"I am ready for the full light."
The aide shrugs.
Dad wakes,
"Do you want to go now? Are we ready to go? Can we leave now?"
Unfortunately for most elderly people there is a long disconnect between being ready to go and being still life.

Oh, breaks my heart. "I am ready for the full light." Oh, my.
Exactly. When my mother was dying six years ago this week, she talked a lot about water in her ramblings.
Keeping both of you in my heart.
