Combing a way out of confusion
Dad was pretty agitated this evening trying to piece together the parts of his day. He had his first shower at his new home, and that made his hair all fly-away, aggravated by nap bed-head and static electricity. Watching him watch himself in the mirror as he combed was a study in regaining control. I am awed by the effort he is making to accept and adjust.
